Indication

Keto-Aid Vet injection is a potent, non-narcotic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, anti-pyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with arthritis and traumatic musculoskeletal injuries. It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of fever. For acute clinical mastitis Keto-Aid Vet injection is indicated for the alleviation of fever, pain and inflammation in conjunction with primary therapy, including antimicrobials, and supportive therapy. Keto-Aid Vet injection is also used in the control of mild to moderate pain associated with colic.


Dosage & Administration

Cattle: 1 ml of Keto-Aid Vet injection per 33 kg body weight (3.333 mg/kg) intramuscularly or intravenously every 24 hours up to 3 days.

Horse: 1 ml of Keto-Aid Vet injection per 45 kg body weight (2.222 mg/kg) intravenously every 24 hours up to 3 to 5 days.

 

Or as advised by the Registered Veterinarian.

 

Withdrawal Period:
Meat-1 day (IV administered) and 4 days (IM administered). Pigs
meat- 4 days. Milk-“0” Zero days.


Precautions

Use in Pregnancy & Lactation: Keto-Aid Vet injection may be given to pregnant and lactating cattle. As the effect of Ketoprofen of fertility, pregnancy or foetal health of horse have not been determined, Keto-Aid Vet injection should not be administerd to pregnant mares.
