Indication
N-sol 5 sterile eye drops is indicated for the temporary relief of corneal edema. It may also be used during eye exams.
Dosage & Administration
Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 3 or 4 hours or as directed by a physician.
Precautions
It is indicated for topical use only. Precaution should be taken if patients have any eye related problems.
Use in special population
Pregnancy & lactation: As with any medication, this should be used cautiously during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
Pediatric: Although there is no specific information comparing use of hypertonic sodium chloride in children with use in other age groups, this medicine is not expected to cause different side effects or problems in children than it does in adults.
Use in elderly patients: There is no specific information comparing use of hypertonic sodium chloride in the elderly with use in other age groups.
